A Global Industrial Website with Complex Product Information
Xaloy’s website needed to present specialised industrial products for the plastics-processing market. Its product information covered groups such as screws and barrels, alongside industries, company information, news and supporting global content.
The previous website made these areas difficult to understand and browse. Softlabs India completed a global website revamp covering strategy, structure, UX/UI design, development, content, SEO work and a custom content-management system.
The redesigned website launched in July 2026.
Make Industrial Products Easier to Find and Understand
The central requirement was not simply to give the website a new visual style. Xaloy needed a clearer way to organise and present complex manufacturing products.
- Replace a dated website presentation
- Improve product browsing and navigation
- Clarify groups such as screws and barrels
- Create routes to products, applications, services and industries
- Support listings, categories and product pages
- Structure global company and supporting content
- Rebuild required WordPress-era capabilities
- Provide a custom CMS
- Write new copy using old content only as factual reference
The work was a redesign and rebuild, not a direct content migration.
What Softlabs India Built
Softlabs India completed a global website revamp covering strategy, structure, UX/UI design, development, content, SEO work and a custom content-management system. Hover or tap a capability to view its details.
From WordPress-Required Capabilities to a Custom Platform
The old website was used as a controlled source of factual information while the required capabilities were rebuilt around the redesigned experience.
Review Existing Information
Understand available product, industry, company and supporting information.
Define a New Structure
Reorganise listings, categories, products, industries, company pages, blogs and news.
Write New Content
Prepare copy for the redesign while using the old site for factual checking only.
Rebuild Publishing Capabilities
Create custom features for the new platform and content structure.
Connect a Custom CMS
Support the new frontend with .NET, a SQL database and custom CMS.
This was a structured redesign and rebuild based on approved facts from the previous site. It was not a direct WordPress content migration.
Before and After Design Comparison
The comparison shows the visible change from the previous homepage to the redesigned experience. The earlier page had a dated presentation and gave limited guidance into Xaloy’s product catalogue. The redesigned homepage uses a more focused hero, stronger hierarchy, grouped navigation and visible routes into products, applications and services.
- A clearer information hierarchy
- Grouped navigation
- Routes to products, applications and services
- A language selector
- Visible contact and quote actions
- A more focused homepage hero
The comparison shows changes to the website’s design and navigation. It does not establish improvements in conversion, leads, traffic, accessibility, speed or user satisfaction.
A Clearer Path Through Industrial Content
Industrial buyers may arrive with different levels of product knowledge. Some know the exact product they need; others begin with a category, application, service or industry.
Product-discovery approach
- Begin with a broad product group.
- Move into a relevant category.
- Open a focused product page.
- Explore industries and related routes.
- Reach visible contact or quote actions when ready.
CMS content scope
The custom CMS supports approved listing, category, product, industry, blog, news, company and global-page content. No extra CMS functions are inferred.
